Drama at Dry Gulch Creek

An old-fashioned western merges with a medieval fantasy when a failing town comes up with an ill fated marketing plan. Dry Gulch Creek is drying up and some old rivals have to work together and incorporate ideas from outsiders in order to survive. Colorful costumes and a saloon set make this a fun show for a small cast in school or community groups.

The cast of characters

  • Vera: owner, Dry Gulch Creek Saloon and Hotel
  • Lacey Anderson: a man who follows his own rules
  • Doc Lee: a recovering alcoholic turned counselor
  • Ronnie B.: a snake oil peddler down on his luck
  • Betty Ann Barton: successful storekeeper
  • Orphan Joe: a young drifter
  • Miss Liz: the schoolmarm and love interest of several characters
  • Louis Vascana: a Basque sheepherder
  • James Austen Wheelwright, Jr.: the town sheriff
