An English teacher seeks refuge in the staff lounge but can’t find his lunch in the refrigerator, prompting him to blame his colleagues for stealing it. He uses their lunches as puppets in his rant against them and their disrespect for the English language.
This short (7 – 8 minutes) monologue for an adult male is fun for a full production with props or for an actor to practice miming skills. There is a female version of this piece included in Get Organized! (the show).
